Major League Exotics is a family-run exotic animal business built on more than 35 years of hands-on experience. We specialize in captive-bred reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates, backed by the feeders, live plants, and bioactive supplies you need to keep them thriving.

Captive-Bred, Done Right

We focus on captive-bred animals because it's better for the hobby and better for you. Captive-bred animals are healthier, better adjusted to life in a home enclosure, and free of the stress and parasites that come with wild collection. When you buy from us, you're getting an animal that was raised properly, not pulled from the wild.

Our Dart Frog Breeding Program

Dart frogs are a serious part of who we are. We run a dedicated dart frog breeding program covering a wide range of species, from popular tincs and leucs to rare Oophaga most keepers never get to see in person. Shipping Information

Dry Goods Shipping
Our dry goods—any products we sell that are not live animals—are shipped within 24 hours, Monday through Friday. Delivery times vary based on the shipping method selected and typically take 1–7 business days to arrive once shipped.

Live Animal Shipping
Shipping live animals requires extra care and consideration for the safety and health of the animal(s). We schedule shipments based on the weather at the destination and the recipient's availability to receive the package. One of our representatives will contact you to arrange the best shipping date.

All live animal orders are shipped for a flat rate via overnight carrier on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, covering amphibians, reptiles, and pet invertebrates. For locations with overnight lows between 30° and 40°F, or in cases where we deem it best for the animals, we require that live animals be shipped to a staffed FedEx location. Animals sent to a FedEx location must be picked up within one hour of delivery. If destination temperatures exceed 90°F at the expected time of delivery, we will hold the shipment until conditions are safe.

Live Insect and Live Plant Shipping Schedule
We strive to ship live insects and plants as quickly as possible. Most orders are processed and shipped within 1–3 business days, depending on the selected shipping method. Orders placed after Wednesday at 2 PM EDT may not ship until the following Monday. In cases of extreme weather conditions, we may delay shipment to ensure the safety of your order and will notify you accordingly.

International Shipping
Currently, we only ship live animals within the continental United States.

Store Policy

  • We do not offer payment plans or trade-ins at this time.
  • By purchasing an animal, you agree to all terms and conditions.
  • Turtle and tortoise sales are prohibited in New Jersey.
  • Local pickup is available at Major League Exotics, 3700 US-9, Howell Township, NJ 07731.
  • Shipping charges are additional.
  • No guarantee on inverts, amphibians, or old-world chameleons.
  • Live animal shipping is done on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
  • The buyer must be present to receive the package on the first delivery attempt; failure to do so will void all guarantees.
  • Live arrival is guaranteed when temperatures are between 35–89°F for home delivery and 25–99°F for pickup at a FedEx hub. The animal must be picked up within 2 hours.
  • Any changes to the shipment route initiated by the customer will void the live arrival guarantee.
  • We are not responsible for carrier delays causing late arrivals.
  • All livestock sales are final.
  • We guarantee live and healthy arrival; however, we cannot offer any guarantee after arrival. If your animal arrives deceased, we will send a replacement, but we do not offer refunds.
  • Shipping charges for replacement animals are the responsibility of the buyer, and we do not offer credits or refunds on shipping.
  • If your shipment arrives deceased, visibly unhealthy, or damaged, or if there are any other issues, you must notify us immediately. Please include photos of the animal, packaging, and any damages.
  • If a shipment is refused and returned to us, we reserve the right to withhold the original shipping fee, return shipping fee, handling fees, and a 15% restocking fee for any sellable items.
  • We reserve the right to refuse sale to any buyer, for any reason.
  • We are not responsible for any veterinary expenses or costs incurred by the buyer. Any veterinary care is solely at the buyer's expense.
  • Turtles and tortoises under 4 inches are sold for educational and scientific purposes only.
  • Please be aware of your local wildlife laws and regulations. No shipments will knowingly violate state or federal laws.
