Shipping Information
Dry Goods Shipping
Our dry goods—any products we sell that are not live animals—are shipped within 24 hours, Monday through Friday. Delivery times vary based on the shipping method selected and typically take 1–7 business days to arrive once shipped.
Live Animal Shipping
Shipping live animals requires extra care and consideration for the safety and health of the animal(s). We schedule shipments based on the weather at the destination and the recipient’s availability to receive the package. One of our representatives will contact you to arrange the best shipping date.
All live animal orders are shipped for a flat rate via overnight carrier, Monday–Friday, covering amphibians, reptiles, and pet invertebrates. For locations with overnight lows between 30° and 40°F, or in cases where we deem it best for the animals, we require that live animals be shipped to a staffed FedEx location. Animals sent to a FedEx location must be picked up by noon on the day of arrival. If destination temperatures exceed 90°F at the expected time of delivery, we will hold the shipment until conditions are safe.
