Bring home one of Southeast Asia's most architecturally striking amphibians with this captive-bred male Borneo Eared Frog (Polypedates otilophus). Native to the lowland rainforests of Borneo, this species is instantly recognizable for the bony, blade-like ridges that sweep back behind each eye — the "ears" that give the frog its name.
Tan to pale gold in base color and marked with fine dark pinstriping down the flanks and legs, the Borneo Eared Frog is a hardy, long-limbed climber that does beautifully in a tall, planted enclosure. Calm by day and active at dusk, it is an excellent display species for keepers who love arboreal frogs with real presence.
